CheeseMongers

Are you ready for the new reality-comic-sensation sweeping the nation? It's my official foray into autobiographical work. Can I bring myself to produce more than five pages of it? Can I bring myself to actually reveal personal info? Find out! Soon!

Deep Breath

Painting up a firestorm for these puppets...
We open in four days! Life is laying it on beautifully, and I'm healthily contemplating its fleeting qualities:

Raging Love for Chicago/ Humanity Today

Finally completely moved into the new apartment. If you had known where I lived before ~ just imagine about four blocks east. We are indescribably in love with the new setup. Above is one of many Catalpa trees that partially inspires all of "An Army of Lovers will be Beaten." See drawing below:

Flashbacking

I went blueberry picking with Courtney some days ago and here are the pictures. It was a maxed out nature extravaganza! Forgive my little red pooch of a belly in photo #1, it's full of beer & fancy cheese. Life has its pile of inexplicable, nirvana-inducing mysteries.

Catalpa Leaf

An awe-inducing, giant, heart-shaped Catalpa leaf on my way to somewhere I'm not sure:
And a not so surprisingly shitty cell phone photo of Jupiter. Are you aware that you can see it just about any given night in the part of the sky the sun follows? It's magnificently bright. And you can spot its moons with any cheap binocular. My heart is engorged:Is it crazy to ask someone to launch my corporal coffin into it, whenever that fateful day may come? Yay, gimmie gimmie. I've got to be deserving of immeasurable amounts of gas.

Life & Times of a Runaway Ginger on Drugs

Some excruciatingly cute video of Courtney's new kitten, Radio:

Cute Explosion.
And also, as if to bring balance back to the world, presented here is one of John Cleese's Video Blogs. Complete with questionably rough Aftereffects and questionably soft slapstick punches:

Mysterious Nerds in the Night

Another collaborative drawing made a week ago, in the company of Al Burian, Lucy Knisley, Laura Park, Grant Reynolds, & Jeremy Tinder. Lucy's hospitality for us was matched only by the unfathomably good pie.

Night Owl Nerds on Parade

Check out some collaborative drawings from last night! It was a blast drawing & chillin' with such talented Chicago comic artists as Lilli Carre, Mr. Onsmith, Laura Park, Grant Reynolds, & Jeremy Tinder. Laura's blueberry cobbler was a dynamite treat!

Times are Absolutely Furious

...what with the near loss of the new cats we're watching, continued perseverance on the comic "An Army of Lovers will be Beaten," laboring over a music video, and trying to uncross our eyes in this wild tenement building that is Earth. Smack me silly, there are images to share! Some of these are photos and some are videos of varying quality. April was full of untold adventure.
Like Peter Frederick's Balls Out Patrotism:
and pictured, the difficulty of drawing a black hole:
Which of course leads to his other fully realized fantasies:
There was a Magical Live Broadcasting to New York on April 25, 2008: (featuring reprogrammed electronic toys and the giddy Omnichord)

There was an ecstatic celebration of Dan's birthday at Michelle's organic farm:

Coming back to the city after all that natural bliss made me feel a little funny:
But all is okay. Cuz there are people like these below. The man on the left is Chris Castro, the one on the right is Mosh:
Mosh makes crazy creatures like these, but in TOP secret:
I found this someplace out of time between Illinois and Indiana:
And there was a Super Top-Secret Brownlands Birthday Party
thrown by/for some unbelievably nice people. These photos are by David Schalliol and the video by Ben Kolak and Alex MacKenzie:
